Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!! I know that’s old, but this news is late! “For the Sake of the Kingdom”
“Peter said to him, “We have left all we had to follow you!” “I tell you the truth,” Jesus said to them, “No one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life.” Luke 18:28, 29. We have moved house and country again.. left ‘Home’ to come ‘Home’. But as
seems always true…It’s harder coming back.
Sharny pointed out the other day that we had done this twice in the last 3 years. For the Kingdom’s sake we had left Home (Australia) for Vanuatu to serve with CCSV schools. We left ‘all of the above’ (except wife!) And when we came back, we left Home again ; so many friends, many of whom we consider brothers and sisters, daughters and sons, our Pango Beach shack, and lots of our possessions given away or sold cheap as, and of course ‘Island life style’ that we grew to love. We arrived back in ‘Oz’ a day before Christmas. Pic: Port Vila CCS staff, students and I get down n dirty installing our own school traffic signs. Dec. 2012.
The Lord really blessed us in Vanuatu, in every way. With rewarding mission and ministry adventures with Community Christian Schools Vanuatu, music and speaking opportunities in villages and other Islands, and even financially through Sharny’s teaching job. (Also for Georgia and Asher’s tafe courses and Josiah’s Jazz course.) And So.. it was SO WORTH it for the sake of His Kingdom. And we are so richer in Faith, Hope and Love because of it, Just as Jesus said.
We finished our 3yrs in Vanuatu well, confident that Principal Joseph and Deputy Baxton will lead the school well into future. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve with CCSV and to Jonathan, Ps Steve and Helen Blake for entrusting us with steering the school in the beginning. We will stay in contact with and promote the ministry of Community Christian Schools Vanuatu (www.ccsv.info ) and Liberty for the Nations (www.lftn.org), wherever we go. We have learnt so many valuable life and faith lessons from our experiences and people in Vanuatu. And we really miss our Vanuatu friends and the country.

So… 2013! Now we want to excite Christians to missions in these last days before Jesus return and Go where He sends us to make disciples for Him, by singing and sharing, teaching and preaching, wherever and whenever we can. Where? Pubs, Clubs, (mostly open mic nights which
Dear friends and family,we love and opens up great conversations with locals), Festivals (Christian & secular. We love being in the world but not of it. Salt and Light for Jesus) Outreaches (especially open air ones), Churches (especially combined events), Youth groups and events, Fellowships, even BBQ’s, in cities, towns, villages. Australia, South Pacific, Rest of the world!
“Sing to the Lord for He has done wonderful things. Make known His praise around the world!” Isaiah 12:5
